Hello Everyone! Sorry for the delay. With the rise in online courses during this period, I have emerged myself in these courses and haven’t had the time to write a full honest review for Peng Joon’s Virtual Game Changer Course. I am currently on a One Funnel Away Challenge which I feel is REALLY worth the 100 bucks as compared to any other online courses that I did.
After spending over $2,000 on various online courses, I really feel that this is the best course to learn online marketing and creating an offer. Drop me a DM on my Instagram (@zachchiadotcom) if you want to know more about it!
OKAY. So enough about me talking about the One Funnel Away Challenge. Let’s dive into the Virtual Game Changer Course which was a 3-day virtual conference held by Peng Joon. The Lessons are broken down into 3 days held from 1 pm – 7 pm.
- Day 1 – Mindset, identifying your purpose, product and various sales Funnel
- Day 2 – How to Create a Good Offer, Story, Delivering the offer, Different Platforms to close Delivering your speech on video and closing
- Day 3 – Affiliate Marketing, persuasion, different traffic secrets, writing scripts for your video and automation of your business.
Day 1
I was super pumped about attending the course. It was my first ever online course that I bought that cost over $100. I always thought all these courses are scams but this was my first step into the world of online courses and I was expecting to become rich instantly through it.
On the first day, Peng Joon was talking about how we should frame our mindset and how we can bring value and help others through our business idea. To create a new market even though some may be saturated. It was a good lesson as he also took a few students who dared to speak up to tell him their idea so that he was able to help them refine it.
He also provided a script so that it was much easier for us to craft out who we serve and what we do. He then proceeded to talk about building our sales process for our business, how to find the average lifetime cart value of each customer, and the difference between sales and marketing.
It was an interesting day as all these concepts I would have never thought that these words would work on me to buy the course. (Which I did buy into it) So it convinced me and I feel that I am not a very easy buyer.
At the end of the first day, I felt that I learned something new in terms of the different funnel strategies and how a sales letter, video sales pitch is used. That was money worth for me on the first day as I slowly began to analyse the various ads that were put in front of me.
Day 2
Day 2 was the best day of learning out of the three days. Peng Joon goes through a lot of very useful concepts and theories which was something very new to me even though I was doing marketing as my full-time job.
I realized these concepts are not used in the wider marketing industry however, there seems to be an uprise of these marketing methods as you begin to see more of these offers/ads online.
So let me give you a brief outline of what Peng Joon went through the second day.
First, he taught how to structure an irresistible offer on finding a solution to a problem for a customer. Peng Joon also shared his story on how he got started with internet marketing and it was quite inspiring as well.
Then, he moved on to creating a story behind an offer and also creating frameworks that support the products that we are creating.
I felt that his strong points in internet marketing were his video marketing skills which he also shared on how we should structure it. The best part was he also provided some of his speech frameworks so that we could use it as well. The bonus of signing up for the course on that day was a unique video challenge that he created as well and we could be part of the challenge to improve our video marketing skills.
Out of all the lessons learned on the day, the best takeaway from it was that to create an irresistible offer, you need to provide less effort for the person to start. This includes various templates, instant clients, etc. This technique really changed my perception on how I should create and offer and what bonuses I can add on to my very own offer/product.
I created a product after attending the course that helps internet marketers understand their website traffic better! The FREE guide can be found here!
Day 3
On the last day of the course, Peng Joon went through Affiliate Marketing. If you are not sure of what Affiliate Marketing is, it is basically selling other business’s products and getting paid for every item you sell. An example of Affiliate Marketing is Amazon FBA where you promote products already listed on Amazon and market it, then getting a commission cut for it.
Peng Joon goes through how to find good affiliate products to sell, how to market it, and to persuade customers into buying from you instead of buying directly from the source itself.
Lastly, he went through how we should be thinking after the whole course and that we should not give up. The difference between successful people and non-successful people are giving excuses and reasons for why they can’t succeed.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I felt that the amount of knowledge I got was worth the amount as it was my first online course that I bought, it was a whole new experience for me in online marketing. The techniques and strategies used are much different compared to what I do in my day job on a daily basis.
It provides a fresh perspective on how to market different products and the bonuses that came along with it was helpful as well.
Overall, I would rate the course 7/10 as I felt that certain portions can be shorter such as the affiliate marketing portion and more steps on how to actually get started from zero and no ideas. Initially, I felt like it was a scam as nothing much was provided during the pre-training. But in the end, the course turned out to be okay! So it is NOT a scam! It would be if your mindset is no value gained from all these and you expect to be rich instantly. You got to put in the work and start from failing.
I would recommend anyone that’s looking to quit their 9-5 job and wanting to start something to attend courses that they feel would benefit them. But to also do your due diligence to check on the credibility of the person and the modules that they are teaching. I am sure you would learn a thing or two that would be worth the money.
The rest of the journey would be up to you to start. If you would like to learn more about my journey, do tune in to my Podcast, “Zach Of All Trades” as I will be posting an episode every day to document my journey. See you guys in the next post! Ciao~
